What Runners Say

Real People.
Real Stories.

From first-timers conquering their first trail race, to seasoned mountain runners coming back year after year — this is what makes the Pemby Pounder special.

The views from the ridge are absolutely stunning. I've done trail races all over BC but the Pemby Pounder holds a special place — the community feel, the trails, the finish line atmosphere at Den Duyf Park. I'll be back.

I signed up for the 9K thinking it would be a fun outing. Two hours later I was standing on a ridge with Mount Currie right in my face thinking — okay, I need to come back and do the 22K next year.
